Located in the north east of Mpumalanga and bordering Southern Kruger Park, Swaziland and Mozambique Tourism comes naturally to our region. The Nkomazi Local Tourism Organisation (NLTO) is The official Local Tourism Organisation that represents the hospitality industry in the Nkomazi Municipal district.
We fall directly under the Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO); Kruger Lowveld Tourism https://www.krugerlowveld.com/ who are the Regional Marketing Organisation. We are proud to be associated with this highly successful and large tourism organisation with over 500 members.
We operate within the Framework agreement signed between the Department of Economic Development & Tourism (DEDT), Mpumalanga Tourism & Parks Agency (MTPA) and the Municipalities of Mpumalanga. As such we endeavour to create a network of Community Tourism Organisations (CTO’s) to fit into the regional structure and give opportunities to all communities within Nkomazi to get involved, receive assistance and influence the future strategy of Tourism.
